2006 Bogle Vineyards Zinfandel Old Vine California

Not quite as dark a purple as you would expect from a old vine zin. The aromas were cherry, black pepper and briar. The flavors were slightly muted but consisted of blackberry, cherry and coconut. The finish was medium length and picked up licorice and a fair amount of tannins. Good for the price range.
