Dark inky purple in color. After an hour in the decanter the aromas were a nice mix of floral violets, blueberry and currant. The flavors were ripe currant, black cherry, raspberry and vanilla. The finish is long and tannic. This wine might need a little more time in bottle to be fully enjoyed but it’s very good now. At $35 this is a very, very
good wine for the money.
